Bury death tax for good!

June 5, 2002

Should bureaucrats and politicians in Washington get a large
percentage (up to 60%) of your estate with your spouse and
children getting what is left?  If your answer is no, then
you need to urge your U.S. representative to vote yes tomorrow
afternoon on H.R. 2143 -- The Permanent Death Tax Repeal Act.

Rep. Dave Weldon (R-FL) a member of The Liberty Caucus
sponsored H.R. 2143.  Twelve other members of The Liberty
Caucus are cosponsors of the bill.

We are optimistic the House will permanently repeal the federal
death tax, but we need as many yes votes as possible before the
bill is sent to the Senate.  Why?  Senator Majority Leader Tom
Daschle (D-SD) is opposed to permanently repealing the death tax.
He wants your surviving spouse and children to have only what is
left over from the sticky hands of politicians and bureaucrats.

Urge your representative to vote yes on H.R. 2143 tomorrow
afternoon.  Click on the following link to take action:
