Losing Liberty Without a Debate

November 12, 2001

Dear liberty activist,

Nothing makes a stronger case for public activism than to report what passes
for business as usual in our nation's capital.

"Our forefathers would think it's time for a revolution," says
Representative Ron Paul in the article entitled "Police State" published by
Insight magazine and written by Kelly Patricia O'Meara (issue date:  Dec. 3,
2001/posted date: Nov. 9, 2001).

to go directly to "Police State" -- an eye-opening story on how Washington
really works.  When you do, remember that we celebrate Veterans' Day to
honor those men and women who have sacrificed greatly and, for many
ultimately, in the battle to preserve our precious liberty -- liberty the
political elite are willing to lose without so much as a fair debate.

If you have friends or family members who can still be outraged by the
underhanded tactics of the politically powerful, show them this article and
tell them to join The Liberty Committee and do something about it.  We're
over 62,000 strong already -- in another year that can be doubled, or
tripled.  Our strength is in our numbers.
